Wireless bridging with OpenWrt and a WRT310N

I’m currently building some servers for a client, and didn’t want to do it in my main office. Unfortunately, none of the spare rooms are wired. I’ve never had much luck getting bridging working with wireless routers – until now. This OpenWrt guide works quite nicely. Obviously you need to have a router which supports OpenWrt (WRT310N in my case).

(I’m partly posting this for my own future reference – quite surprised it’s working)

Augmented reality is getting more and more real

Blaise Aguera y Arcas demos augmented-reality maps – a very impressive demo of what we have to look forward to in the augmented reality space. The flickr integration using Photosynth looks especially impressive, but the telescope is pretty hard to beat too.
