Ninety-Nine Nights didn't get spectacular reviews, and it was criticised for it's overly repetitive gameplay, however as a hack and slash romp it's quite a lot of fun.
In my exceedingly humble opinion, there are only four things you could possibly want a bit of help/advice with in order to finish the game and get the full 1000 points worth of achievements.
1. Inphyy's Special mission
The King of Nights isn't easy, but he's not hard either. There are just a couple of little tricks to beating him. The first thing to notice is that he only takes damage when he's standing on the ground. The next thing you'll notice is that he spends a lot of time floating in the air. If you need to, stand back and watch him and Dwingvatt fight for a bit. You'll soon learn to tell when he's grounded vs when he's floating. The best attack to use on him is Inphyy's level 9 orb spark attack - AA, BBBB etc. It can be a bit awkward to aim, but as long as you time it so he's standing on the ground and you point it in his general direction you should hit him. It only takes a few hits to kill him, which is good as you'll run out of Armies of the Night to recharge your orb spark pretty quick. There are a few people out there who insist that you need certain dropped items in order to do this mission. I completed it pretty easily without any of the items. Anything which increases your Orb recharge rate is good, and +HP items can be handy if you're getting hit a bit. Finally, note that you can run the first part of the mission and get straight through to the King to save time - the mage charges your orb spark and HP to full after the cut scene, so there's nothing to be gained by spending time killing the Armies of the Night along the path.
2. "A" Ranking with Inphyy in the Ywa-Ue-Uar Forests
The trick here is to pull a blue spark on the Pwucks. If you can include the goblins in this, then that's even better. Once you hit break 400 kills, the game will wait a short time and then warp you to the cutscene before the Pwucks, so if you pause at the 380-395 kill mark and with a full red spark, then you can run about for a bit herding mobs into a small space before sparking the hell out of them. Hopefully this will fill your blue bar, and give you a lot of kills (500+ is nice) before you're warped. Without that, it's just a bit tight to fill the blue bar in under 400 kills.
3. A Ranking with Aspharr in the Ice Castle
Again, the key here is to pull off a lot of kills via a blue spark attack. The trick is to run down the path when Leuu appears. It feels like you're running away from the fight here, and you are, but there's plenty of groups of mobs along that lower path. You should have no issues filling your blue gauge and using the spark attack on a decemt amount of enemies.
4. The "Get all characters to level 9" achievement
Getting the characters to level 9 is pretty easy, however I noticed a few people asking how come they didn't get the achievement after their final character hit level 9. Well! Once all your characters are level 9, then you have to complete every mission (except Inphhy's special one) at level 9. So basically, you need to play the entire game again. With characters at level 9 it's pretty easy to do, but it's taking the piss a little bit.
