Ed Brill talks about the fact that the 30th of September was
the official end of support for Notes/Domino R5. A couple of sites spring to mind which are still using R5, one of them is a client, and the other is a regular reader of this site - I wonder if this news will raise the chances of some upgrades. For the client, it's a real pain needing to have a copy of R5 sitting around just for the occasional change they request, and I'd have pushed the R6 upgrade prior to this, except their crappy old R5 server sits there running the old app they use quite nicely, and they really can't justify the extra cost.
Anyway, Ed's post does bring back many memories of those good old R5 days.
