Next in Microsoft’s crosshairs — Research in Motion, or RIM, makers of the Blackberry handhelds. These are popular with enterprise customers, and I’m told that Microsofties are to officially froth at the mouth if ever they see a Blackberry. Must test that out on some of the New Zealand Microsofties actually.
Actually, that's not such a bad thing. Blackberry technology is great, but in it's current proprietary form it's expensive as hell. Having it available as part of a Microsoft subscription deal would reduce the costs by a truck load for a lot of people. Maybe this is me speaking from the aspect of being assimilated, but I actually think this could be a good thing.
