Jackass - high points

Just got back from the Steve-O "Don't try this at home" show, which was on at the Logan Campbell Center tonight.

High points:

  • Steve-O coming on to Slayer, bashing beer cans (full of course) on his head to the beat
  • The random banter in between stunts
  • When Steve-O and co got sick of a couple of the drunken crowd members they'd invited on stage, and got them ejected via security, encouraging the crowd "If any of you guys see this guy, kick his fucking ass!"
  • The aforementioned drunk guys getting kicked in the nads many times by Steve-O's girlfriend.
  • The PA, which was pretty fucking impressive, and was constantly playing metal (often to the shouts of "Play me some fucking metal dude!")
  • Standing in the crowd, watching the stage, realising I was watching a topless guy covered in his own blood (from cutting his tounge with a lightbulb, and then proceeding to "warpaint" himself with it), covered in spilt tequila and salt, wearing a ladies bra strapped around his head, and just laughing at the insanity of it all.

    Low points:

  • Feeling kind of bad for the poor girl who got up alone when they tried to word up getting naked ladies on stage. I guess she just wanted her 15 minutes of fame, but when she got up there it was pretty clear that she wasn't too down on getting her clothes off.
  • When the drunken crowd members they invited on stage started thinking they were the main attraction.

To sum it up: YEAH DUDE!
