The New Year is upon us. First off, some random numbers - it seems that just as the New Year was ticking over, I broke 7000
SETI Units, which places me at the moment about 119th in
New Zealand. Also, the hit count for December of 2003 was just over 10,000 units (10,059 to be exact), which is the highest ever. Not bad for a little site which really gets no advertising at all. Again, this is set to change in the New Year as part of the site redesign, and the increase in proper article length writing posts.
I had a couple of things I wanted to write about over the next couple of weeks, time permitting. I hope I get time, but seeing as the weather has been utterly brilliant recently, I fear that might not be the case. Anyway, for reference (mine, and yours), here's my rough list of potential topics:
Starwars Galaxies - The holocron system
Starwars Galaxies - a look at where the game is up to now, and my current thoughts (compared to my initial impressions)
Lotus Notes/Domino - an update on the perception of where the product is at now, and what it's future holds - more specifically, what's going on in the New Zealand market.
Lotus Notes/Domino - customisations to your Notes Client (an attempt to dispell some of the myths about what Notes can and can't do)
Online Gaming - a quick look at some up and coming MMO titles
New Zealand Internet - a quick summary article, compiling a lot of the current discussion around the "new" Telecom pricing plans, and the various petitions / rants out there from those who think their offerings are a bit pathetic.
Mobile Devices - compilations of some proper reviews of the P900 and Nokia 6600, taking a look at any upcoming competing models, and some notes about issues with these phones for NZ Customers.
So that's it. An ambitious list, and no doubt only a couple will make it through. Feel free to comment or email if there's anything in particular that you're interested in, and I promise I'll give it some sort of higher priority. Also, a few people have sent me emails lately, and I'm sorry for my delays in responding. It's holiday season, and to be honest the time out in the fresh air away from the computer has just been too enjoyable :)
Happy New Year all!
